In preparation for Grizzly which is approaching fast I signed up to the Benfleet 15 which was muddy, wet, 15 miles long and I loved it 🙂 I ran this with Gouldy who was great company and I must admit I may not have enjoyed it quite so much had I had to do it alone. Doing this as part of a club is a huge part of what makes it so much fun – seeing people along the way and having that friend there to chat to is what keeps you going and makes me smile. I’m not even going to pretend it was easy – who wants easy anyway and I do love a bit of mud, it was my first long off road run and I finished happy. That hill at the end though 😉, who’s up for the Orion 15?!?! GOULDY?!
